Just got back from one of the most enjoyable days we've had outside of The Villages. My sister-inlaw, my neice , my wife & myself went to Mount Dora and went out on this tour CraigCat Guided Boat Tours & Boat Rental Club — Mount Dora, Florida (http://www.craigcattours.com/index.html) It was lots of fun. Highly recommended!

Happy to hear the good reviews, since my hubbie wants to do this and 8've been reluctant.

Would this be a good day trip for our 8 and 4 year old grandsons or is it more for adults? Grampy could do one boat and I could do the other. Each could have one kiddo in the boat.

That looks like so much fun. The only thing I wonder about is wearing the headsets for two hours and not having conversation with your boat partner. How did that work?

It's not headsets, it's a radio around your neck and I talked to my boating partner just fine.

I'd have to say no.These things are pretty fast and there are no seat belts.

Thank you for your prompt response. I'd hate to lose a kiddo!

Ok now this is ANOTHER reason to sell my business and retire to our forever home in TV.
The list keeps getting longer.....

Thank you, bosoxfan. I appreciate your response to my question. I've been wanting to take the Premier Boat Tour on the Dora Canal since our neighbors told us how beautiful the area is and described the oaks overhanging the water. This type of tour sounds like fun. From reviews I'm reading about catamaran tour, you'd better bring a change of clothing because you'll get wet.
