We are so happy to find our dream home had closing on our home on April 21st in the village of Dunedin. We live in Michigan which hasn't been pleasant the past few months. We are coming down in a few weeks to get our new dream home furnished. We have two Bichon girls Heidi & Holly which we treat as our children. Alice isn't planning to retire till fall of 2015 but myself and the girls are coming down for the holidays and staying in TV for awhile. We can't wait to get down in TV to meet everybody and enjoying ourselves playing golf and meeting new people.

Pretty exciting isn't it! A whole new chapter of our lives awaits us. Were from Michigan too, Detroit area, Warren to be more specific.

I love Bichons, my friend has three of them and she would leave them at my house when she left town. Loved every minute of watching those babies.

Welcome! As far as Dunedin being far away, distance is all relative. We live in your area (Pinellas), go everywhere including the historical section, by golf cart. Talked with someone in the Paradise Dog park who had never heard of Eisenhower Rec center, so when someone says you might be far from 466, don't worry about it! It's all what you're used to.

We just closed on a cottage in the village of Dunedin last Friday, one week ago..yeah!!!
We are in Connecticut, we bought all our furniture here last week when as we were browsing for fun, we found out that we wouldn't pay taxes if we had it delivered in Florida!
Some was special ordered (fabric) but now it will all be delivered on the day we want while we are there for our first long weekend. We can't wait!

Also, we have 3 nice friendly cats who are indoors. I think they will love the lanai!

:welcome:Welcome Tigger. Ken my husband and I have bought in Charlotte, not too far from you, just off Charlotte Court. We are from Northern Virginia and moved here about 4 months ago and loving it. We have a wired hair Jack Russell named Jack. He loves to play with other dogs. My name is Jackie and if you need anything just let us know. We are loving the life here.

We also have two bichons that we think of as our children. We will be moving to Lake Deaton one month from today. It feels like a dream. Maybe we can start a Bichon club after we get here?

We just sold our condo in Troy, Mi! Planning a week in June for Lifestyle Preview and can't wait to come. Looking to buy a new home in Village of Dunedin hopefully. My husband and I will be retiring on July 3rd and packing up to drive down by July 12.
We will be full time Villagers by mid July. Can't wait!
