As everyone continues to debate if The Villages is at too high a risk of sink holes (or lightening strikes or hurricanes or any other event), go to YouTube and search on Baltimore Landslide.

So... still convinced it is too risky here? Wanna move to Baltimore?

Try reading the actual news accounts from sources like the Baltimore Sun, WJZ-TV or WBAL-TV. What happened in Baltimore was a weak retaining wall collapsed. It was NOT a Florida-style sinkhole or anything like it. Lived in Baltimore for a number of years and would leave this place in a heartbeat and go back there if we didn't HAVE to be here!
