I am considering having a small pagoda erected for my bbq grill area. Any suggestions on a good contractor. Is an open rafter style better or is a mostly closed cover better? What might an approximate cost be? Can these structures be anchored for strong winds? Will this change my house insurance? Any help is much appreciated.

The Pergola Kings (http://www.pergolakings.com/) have a display ad in the Villages Sun every week. If you searched their name on this site, you would get some of your questions answered. Search Results (https://www.talkofthevillages.com/forums/search.php?searchid=8315529)

Consider Abisher in Lake Sumter Landing. I shopped 4 different companies including Pergola Kings and Abisher had the best price by far. Speak to Steve who is over the construction division. I have also used them to enclose my Lanai with acrylic sliders which they also had the Best price while shopping for that job. Their quality and workmanship is OUTSTANDING!
