Greetings,
I have just finished driving from Oregon to spend the next 6 months here at TV. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place where I can get a quick oil change. I have used Juffy-Lube and places like that in the past but I can't seem to find anything like that in the area. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I like Wal-Mart.

I get my oil changed at Tri-County Auto on 441 across from Denny's. I think they're reliable, and have been good at diagnosing problems w/my car.

Welcome to TV!!

I have had excellent service at Express Lub on 27/441 - twenty yards south of CR 466.

I use Express Lube on 27/441 - just south of rte 42 in the Marion area. Bring in a coupon for the discount and get a preferred service card for a permanent discount.

Check your service manual and see what you need and they will do most of them at a cheaper price than other places.

AND NO HASSLE!!

ZCave...are you talking about the Texaco Express Lube just north of Baylee Plaza on 441? If so, I and a few other posters have had a bad experience with them....they recommend a lot of other maintenance items (air filter, cabin filter, etc) without checking to see what you really need. Charged me $49 to replace the cabin air filter in my Camry...that seemed pretty high.

If you are talking about another outfit, disregard above comments.

That is the one. However with any of the other places you have to keep tabs on what you need at the time.

I went to Bill Bryants in Fruitland Park and they wanted to charge me $1500 for a lot of unnecessary work. I asked then which were the most immediate things. All of these places try to get you for the most items. It was the same up north. You have to be frugal and tell them what you want them to do.

Sorry but I cannot go to the Texaco on 441. They gave me a long list of things I really needed done. I am glad I pay attention because my husband had had all the things done just 3 months before.
They even told me they could tell I never changed one of the things--that too was new.
Maybe this was done because I am a woman. I hate to think of all the people who fell for their spiel and paid for what they did not need .
