I see big white shuttle busses marked "The Villages", and also the white van with the yellow stripe that says Village Airport Van.

The big one looks more comfortable. Does the big one pick you up at the house?
I know the small van does.

Is this the only two choices? How about a limo service?

Anybody got the prices handy?

So much planning to do., Thanks:ho:

The "Villages Transportation" is $35pp each way. It is an extra $10 for a taxi ride to or from your residence. The size vehicle they use depends on the number of customers using it at the time. The big bus is more comfortable than the van. They run a regular route from early morning to late at night.

I believe that the Village Airport Van will pick you up at your home without additional cost, however you will end up stopping at other riders homes as they make their way through to pick up all of the travelers. If you are the last to be picked up on the way to the airport this is not an issue, but if you are the first to be picked up, you end up riding around the Villages and of course, the reverse is true coming back from the airport.

Each has a website so you can check out the prices there. If I recall at one point the Village Airport Van was cheaper so convenience and personal preference would need to be factored in. If price is not a concern you could always go with a limo, or you could look into a one way car rental. IMO, and yes I have used them, The "Villages" shuttle is the way to go.
