I have been getting Shades color by Redken and I would like to be able to continue it now that we have moved to TV. Anyone know which salons use Redken Shades formulas? Also need a great acid perm. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I prefer Matrix Socolor and after much searching found a salon that uses it! Most salons here use Redkin so you should have no problem.

I believe the post above was meant to read that most of the salons here in TV use Redkin color, which is true.

Urban Hair Studio (the downstairs part, anyway) uses Redkin. 352-748-0040. I can recommend Whitney.

Probably using an iPad?
My iPad makes some really bizarre assumptions about what I want to say.

Urban Hair, upstairs, Whitney Fifer uses Redken Shades EQ color. I don't know anything about perms, however. Her # 352 279 7794. You'll love her.

The Salon Academy uses Redken products.

I heard it takes hours because the teachers must look over the work to approve what's been done. When it comes to color or perms, I'd opt for a very experienced stylist to do the work. MHO.

I went to the Salon Academy six years ago, never again. I asked for light golden brown. They dyed my hair jet black by mistake. And then the stylist and her supervisor told me there was nothing they could do about it, I'd just have to let it grow out. It took hours and hours, and I walked out of there looking like the wicked witch of the west.

I did manage to lighten it a bit by repeatedly using dawn dishwasher detergent, but I wouldn't recommend it for healthy hair. :ohdear:
