The Villages Environmental Club will show the award-winning film, "ADDICTED TO PLASTIC, The Rise and Demise of a Modern Miracle", on Wednesday, May 28, 6:30PM at SeaBreeze Recreation Center. This ubiquitous material is made from a non-renewable fossil fuel that infiltrates every part of our lives. Plastic never goes away...so how do we live with it? All villagers are invited to watch the film and discussion, with refreshments, to follow.

Thank you for that info. I plan to be there. I knew about the fossil fuel problem. I just learned recently, from my niece whose field is sustainable architecture, about "off gasses" from plastics. I would like to learn more.
