Don, everyone takes risk, going to the bank and standing in line can get you shot by some robber...it happens every day. Go on your adventure, be cautious and shrewd. When I was there recently, the operator of our bus would not let any of us sit in the first two rows on the bus. In addition, we had a police escort and a police tailgater follow us. But the magnificent sites and 5,000 year old historical sites far out weighed all the concern over safety. There is no place in world where you will see so much history and when you return you'll have wonderful memories.
