My wife and I use Dr. Upadya. Her husband is the Cardiologist. Her office is in the office complex on the left of 466 just before you get to Rolling Acres when heading towards 27/441.

Dr Ortiz, with Lake Pulmonary & Sleep Disorders Clinic. I just love him. Dr Delgado is the senior doctor & he is very nice also. Their main office is in Leesburg across from the hospital and TV's office is on Laurel Manor off 466. Great office staff. Ph# for both places is (352)728-0709.

teresa:

As VP of The Villages Airheads (a COPD Support Group) and a member of The Villages Sleep Apnea Support Group - both "ailments" are treated by pulmonologists - I have compiled a fairly recent list of 17 pulmonologists in or near The Villages.

You may PM me, and I will attempt to send you a copy of my directory.

Meanwhile, here are details on both support groups:
Airheads "Educational Sessions:" 2nd & 4th Tue 10:00-11:30am, Mulberry Grove Rec Center (year 'round)
Airheads "Breathing & Exercise Sessions:" 1st & 3rd Fri 10:00-11:30am, Mulberry Grove Rec Center (year 'round)
Sleep Apnea Support Group: 2nd Mon 6:30-8:00pm, Bridgeport Rec Center (exc. Jun-Jul-Aug)

Hope to see you (and your caregiver, or the other way around) soon.

Dr Delgado is my specialist for sarcoidosis, 3rd or 4th year. Does a super follow-up routine, very satisfied.

I also see Dr. Upadya. Well qualified and nice. She is located at the Summit Ridge office complex. You have to Uturn at 466 and Rolling Acres (which is a pain) and she is near the end on the right of the complex.
