Premier Care Tub

Here's the problem. Our home came installed with a Premier brand sit-down tub with all the bells and whistles. It shows very little signs of use. Neither of us use the tub and would love to have a standard shower installed there. The original receipt that came with it indicated that it cost $14,000. Hooey!

Is anyone interested in this tub? I would prefer to sell it to a bathroom contractor or trade it to them and have the price applied to a new shower. Does anyone know of a bathroom contractor I could contact about this?

This walk in tub is a significant "value-added" item in your home. If you are wanting to remove it from the master bath, I would suggest that you consider moving it to the guest bath.

Also, I think that the original owner overpaid by about 100%.
