There was an Armed Forces Day ceremony this morning at 10am, according to The Daily Sun.

Today is Armed Forces Day. Everyone should be flying our Flag

Well, it is also the Norwegian's Day of celebrating their Constitution!
But I would guess that the American flags out there are for Armed Forces Day.
