We took the course put on by the Villages Golf Academy last fall and, due to an injury at the clinic, have been unable to play since. I'm now mending and want to play, but feel we both need some lessons. Any recommendations on someone who you've had any experience with?

I have used Maria Brooks, who works out of Palmer. She doesn't have a preconceived notion of what your swing should be, and doesn't try to change everything. She helped me gain distance and also fixed my sand woes. Other friends have used her and also would recommend her.

Howard Adams at the Sand Trap behind Walmart on Rt. 466. He's an excellent PGA pro who doesn't try to re-do your whole swing. I noticed improvement immediately.
