I have a HP Envy 10 wireless printer.
I had a virus and finally conceded to have someone come in to fix the problem, he did a great job.
However i now find that whether using my desktop or laptop my printer will go through the motion of spitting out paper but it won't print (i.e the paper comes out blank)
So both computers are reaching the printer meaning tere is a wireless connection but it won't print.
I did a test print directly from the printer and it worked fine
Anyone have a fix?

How long since you used that printer? If it's ink jet and it's been awhile, try using a damp q-tip on the area on the toner cartridges where the ink comes out. If that doesn't work you could try changing the toner cartridge, it's possible that it is out. Also go to the printer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen, click on it and cancel all of the print jobs, then try again. Hope some of this works. Just watched a video on youtube on how to clean your print head. Sounds messy but if nothing else works.....

Same thing happened to mine. I reinstalled the printer drivers.
They also had be download an "update" for the printer. All good now.

When doing a virus removal it is very common to accidentally delete printer services. The easiest thing to do is to uninstall and re-install the printer.
