I'm about to head back to "Kroger Land" in Indiana and I know Publix will be missed.

I've recently discovered their "Publix Premium Roasted Garlic Cream Patagonian Scallops". On sale this week, 2/$10. I fixed one package (a serving for me) over angel hair pasta... Wow, really good!.

I also have enjoyed their Grouper Burgers. You'll find these and the scallops in the frozen sea food case.

The "crusty" breads... 5 Grain Italian and White Mountain are favorites too.

Do you have any that I should look into before heading north?

The lobster tails in the seafood case. They were $5.00 each. Not sure if they still are. You loosen the meat and pull the tail out where it sits on top of the shell. Put on a cookie sheet baste with unsalted butter. Broil for 8-10 minutes. Awesome. Dip in more butter as you eat them. (rinse them before you cook them as they are a little salty). Delish!

Purdue has a new (to me, anyway) package of five individually wrapped chicken breasts. You can get plain or Italian seasoned. I believe they're more like cutlets than full breasts. They're about 3-4 ounces each. There's a few ways to cook them, but easiest is put on a foil lined pan and bake at 350 for exactly 15 minutes. They are very juicy.

I sprinkle the plain ones with garlic salt, pepper, and cumin powder. My husband likes the Italian seasoned ones. I bake mine up all at once, put them in the meat drawer of the fridge, and cube one to put in a big salad for dinner, or grab one out for dinner with something else. My husbands freezes his, then defrosts one at a time and bakes it.

Only Publix has these. Sweet Bay used to; Winn-Dixie doesn't.
