Has anyone used rooms to go to buy furniture.
I'm still located in Jersey and have to order furniture
on line so I will get it on my closing date.
I would like some pros and cons and other good sources.
Thank you very much and can't wait to arrive

With buying experience from all of these, I'd rank the stores like this, for quality first:

1. Babettes Furniture Leesburg
2. White Furniture in Summerfield just north of TV
3. Family Furniture in Leesburg
(The above 3 have equal quality, known brands that their website will show.)
4. City Furniture in Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landing, The Villages
5. Rooms to Go (Their merchandise is good--not the highest quality--but sometimes we want things that are not "investment" grade and are less expensive so we can change them out more often.)

We have had significant customer service issues with Rooms to Go.

We ordered from the Chattanooga TN store for delivery in The Villages. We still don't have all the issues resolved. Their customer service people denied that their inspector found and reported the defects he informed us he would report.

Good to know. I bought a few pieces at the Ocala store and if you go with RoomsToGo, it's probably best to buy from Ocala store because they routinely sell and deliver to Villages residents.

disposable furniture

Ok is you are going to be a snowbird or for rental ... but if you intend to be a full timer and live with the furniture .... not so much.

We sometimes shop at Kane's in Ocala.
Recently we wanted an electric loveseat.
We couldn't find what we wanted at Kanes.
We bought a loveseat from Rooms to Go with no problems.
It wasn't inexpensive. I thought the quality was OK.
We asked for a discount because we were paying cash, and they gave us one.
Maybe it's junk, but it's super comfortable.

I had great luck with Babette's. Our sales person is Tim McCall, he couldn't do enough for us. Give him a call, you won't be sorry.. 352-728-5600. Have fun shopping!
