Please allow me a few weeks before providing too much personal information. My neighbor, has informed me that there are trollers in this computer web site that watch for key information like religious preference, type of work you did, political affiliation and where you come from to decide if you are acceptable or not. So for now please allow me anonymity to use this site for finding information we need to get moved in and our house set up. We love it here already. We loved Brownwood Square last night.

Your neighbor has a right to his/her opinion but I think that is "nonsense"and respectfully disagree. Reasonable people will disagree. On this site posters may disagree with your comment (post) but that doesn't relate at all to your politics or your religious beliefs. Thats my opinion.

I think it's important to wait and see. No one should do their laundry in public and especially not on an open forum like this. Ever. But some items are ok and you can let the line out slowly. Most folks here are good caring people and as for the 'others' there is as has been said the Ignore button.

I looked at a lot of posts and threads before I started posting as well. This is a great bunch of people and I've enjoyed getting to know their personalities a bit through their posts. To give you an indication of how swiftly "trolls" are dismissed, we had one earlier this week that was given the boot in less than an hour. While we do have differences of opinions on occasion, for the most part it is done in a civil manner.

As the mods have said before, on this site you may disagree as long as you are not disagreeable.

I understand your reluctance and your wish to reserve some anonymity. There are many posters here who divulge little personal information. You may turn any troll-type posts and PMs that you receive into Admin to be dealt with. Trolls and mean folk hiding behind screen names are banned. TOTV really isn't allowed to become nasty like some other online forums.

Oh my gosh, I don't think there are trollers who decide whether people are acceptable based on politics, religion or former jobs.
Otherwise most of us wouldn't have made the cut!
But perhaps I'm naive.

Welcome JimmyJohn. Personally I really don't know anyone's religious preferences, type of work they did or political affiliation. Guess I really don't pay that much attention to those things, nor do I care. It is kind of neat to know where people are from though. With some of the user names here on the board, I'm not even sure who is male or female.

Enjoy settling in, you'll have a lot of time to discover how wonderful this place is.
