My Home Away microchip news alert says that Roscoe is missing in OBH trailer park. They called it a trailer park in the alert. I don't know if that's TV or not.
It says OFF OF HWY 441 AND HWY 42 BEHIND SHOPPING PLAZA OFF 441

Roscoe is an 8-month-old, black & tan 100-lb! Rottweiler. He is supposedly very friendly.

If you see him, please call the Home Again Pet Recovery number 888.466.3242. His microchip # is 985112003133183

I know there are friendly Rottweilers in existence. My dog and I used to be pals with one.

Perhaps Orange Blossom Hills in Summerfield, Marion County?

They did say Summerfield on the notification. I thought there was an OBH off of 441. I'm not familiar with the area.

"Just got a call from Community Watch a very nice lady on Roanoke Street in the Village of BelAir found a white pit bull mix male, very friendly with no collar. If you know anyone who has lost their dog you can call her at 753-9487. Claudia, Sumter animal shelter, is going to send someone out to pick up the dog today."

I hope this pooch was not abandoned. Hate to see friendly pit bull mixes that end up in Animal Control Shelters with kill policies.

This dog is microchipped, and he's only 8 months old. They said he's really friendly. I have a feeling he is not abandoned, or the owners would not have contacted the Home Away microchipping service to put out the lost dog alert.

My guess is he's young, rambunctious and saw a chance to bolt and have some fun. Or maybe something startled him. Who knows. Fingers crossed that he comes to no harm.
