Steve and his hard working crew just finished painting my home and it looks like new. They were professional, cleaned up everything and walked me around the house to inspect the work. There wasn't one thing that needed to be addressed. Today, a Sherwin Williams representative came out with Steve and inspected the work then sat down with me to explain the 25 year warranty. I'm now going to have Steve paint the driveway. I highly recommend him and you won't be disappointed with his work or his pricing.

Steve Kling and his crew recently painted our house and the floor of a large lanai. We wanted to completely change the color scheme of the house, band, front door and lanai but were concerned about us picking the colors. Well, Steve is an expert in this area too, he selected all the colors for all elements of the job and the place looks beautiful. He even suggested new lights for the garage, which we bought and installed - a great finishing touch. Some details of the job - heavy coats of primer and paint, 25 yr warranty by Sherwin Williams, caulking of all outlets and windows, etc., etc. We can't say enough good things about the job, the crew, Steve and the value for the price. We just finished the final walk-around / inspection by Sherwin Williams after Steve Kling finished painting the exterior of our 14 year old Lantana and I have to say is that it's a real pleasure to work with someone who knows what they are doing and cares about the quality of work that they do. That certainly fits Steve and Michele but I think it also fits the crews that worked on our house - they were all good workers who set about doing their job to a high quality standard.

Our job was scheduled to be done right in the middle of the recent hurricane; needless to say the schedule got changed but I was kept constantly informed of when the painters would be there, why we postponed (because of the hurricane) and when we would actually do it. Everyone showed up on time and I never felt that I had to chase down a missing contractor. The quality of work was exceptional (as was the quality of materials used) and the final inspection flagged defects the size of a pin prick for touch-up, tomorrow.

There are some good descriptions of the "process" Steve uses posted already so I won't repeat it - if you want all the details call Steve at 352-267-7184 - you won't be sorry, and they really do what he says they're going to do. I thought the price was very fair and an excellent value; it was cheaper than the last time the house was painted in 2007 by a very nice margin.

Last year they approved that we can keep the original color or change the color to one of 20 approved Sherwin Williams colors for our masonry CYV's. Our homes are now six years old and some are coming due for a paint job. Out of the 80 units in our community, 14 have repainted, 2 kept the original color and 12 have changed color. Of that 11 have hired Omar Painting to paint the outside of their home, apparently he was hired first and most people used him again. A neighbor in 3 BR unit paid Omar $1600 for the work. QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY Steve Kling is. I have several reasons for saying this words. No. 1 is; I had my home painted 3 years ago by another contractor who did a good job, but skip town and when I had to have some paint work redone because the exterior paint did not holdup I could not find him. I contacted Steve because he done painting previously for us he was very understanding about our predicament and work with us and the paint company that was acceptable to my wife and I price wise. My second reason I say Quality is after the painting and after Steve and Robert from Sherwin Williams came out for the inspection they left us with folder on how to care for the exterior, the name and codes of the paint, and other important information. My third reason for saying Quality is his men who came to paint the the house. It took them approximately 2 days to paint the entire 3200 square feet house, compared to 5 days by the other painter. Lastly I say Quality, because of Michele, she was very thoughtful, and suggested to me in the beginning when we were having problems matching the exterior paint that the the gallons of paint that were given to me by the paint company I should first paint some of the area we were trying to match. Bingo, no match. Consequently, we decided to repaint the whole home. We are very glad we did. In the end we could see the difference between our contractor and the Quality work the Steve and Michele and there painters do for their customers. We are very happy.

I am SO GLAD I chose Steve Kling Painting, Inc. Steve Kling's crew did a fantastic job on painting exterior of my home, but the most important part was the pre-painting preparation. When I saw numerous stucco cracks from house settling or misplaced irrigation spray that seeped under stucco, I hired experienced plasterer to remediate stucco areas. But it was crucial to get house repainted soon after. Steve Kling noticed things at His Estimate that other painters missed seeing or ignored when they gave me thair estimates. Steve Kling's Estimate did not skip the primer nor second coat of paint. I am SO GLAD i chose Steve Kling because His Crew carefully & meticulously moved outdoor furnishings, wall hangings, then covered every window, door & concrete so not one drop of paint fell. They did every little thing i asked or needed done, No mess to clean up. And he followed up with inspection of all painting, caulking, any touchup needed, including a warranty backed by Sherwin-Williams for as long as I own this home.
I will surely call Mr. Kling for future interior painting and refinishing my outdoor furniture.
