Does Bonifay still have the huge fly problem like last summer? It was outside at the bar area and outdoor dining area. The manager said nothing could be done about getting rid of the swarms of flies.

I was at the outside bar last week having beverages and a bite to eat and the flies were indeed a pain. Had to cover our drinks with napkins to keep the flies out.

What we need is an investigative report on Bonifay Fly-gate. There are dark, insidious forces at work here.

It might not be easy but I believe the flies can be conquered! What the h*** they have to eat too. I wonder why Bonify has such a big problem and others only have a few?

Bonifay has had that fly problem since the day they opened the place.
All kinds of excuses...none that make any sense.
A good/conscientious owner/manager would indeed have done something about it by now.......how many years have they been open....nuff said....eh!!!

The less cry babies that go there makes it the more enjoyable for others
Basically your outdoors deal with it

Guess I'd just plan on eating indoors for now if at Bonifay for lunch or dinner. The fly problem is cyclical, correct? They may be a part of the nearby ecosystem that is important....who knows. Sometimes we are at the mercy of Mother Nature.
If chemicals are used , then there would be complaints about their use. Gets difficult to please everyone some days.

Their indoor bar is very nice with all the beach colors. Just a shame that the management cannot get a pest management company to get rid of the disease carrying flies outside at the bar and dining areas. The other bars do not have this problem.

I wish they would ban the term "deal with it" from TOTV. We're supposed to be able to express our opinions here without being told to go to our rooms.

Pretty much of a dismissing post on your part and is not appreciated. Would you also say to "deal with it" if you found roaches in your food at a restaurant? I hope not.
As I said, if you had read carefully, the other outdoor bars do not have the swarms of flies that are prevalent at the outdoor bar at Bonifay.
The club owner at Bonifay is the one who should FIX the problem of flies - the customers should not be told by some uninformed poster to " deal with it".

Were there Tuesday around 3PM...there were no flies. Maybe you should check it out yourself and not come down on management for not solving the problem.

I took your advice and went to the outdoor bar at Bonifay oda around 3:30. The flies were all over the outdoor bar. I ordered a draft beer (only $2) and went to the men's room. I came back in a few minutes and 3 flies were crawling on the rim of my glass. The bartender repaced it without charge and I went inside to enjoy the beer.
Those flies at Bonifay are just as thick as last summer!
