Bedlington Terrier Dog and Lizard Face Off - YouTube (http://youtu.be/wFyIsRUhQsM)
Our dog Beau at Doggie Doo Run Run had a 20 minute face-off with a lizard like the one in this YouTube video but there was no window between them. The lizard had its mouth wide open and was attempting to bite Beau but could not get a good grip on his nose or head. This would confuse Beau who thought the lizard just wanted to play. He would then try to paw the lizard to play with him but the lizard would just keep trying to bite Beau. Beau would grab the lizard with his jaws and throw him trying to get him to play. A couple of these times Beau lost where the lizard had sailed and would go frantically searching for it. I would have to run and catch Beau, pick him up, find the lizard, and pit him down next to it. This went on as I said for twenty minutes before the lizard lost its tail and I decided to put it out of its misery by stepping on it. And there were other dogs starting to investigate and they probably would have known just what a dog usually does to a lizard. Eats it or kills it and spits it out as our previous dog Sport did with hundreds of anoles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anolis Beau still continued to play with the lizard while it was dead trying to get it to re-animate like some kind of reptilian Frankenstein. I had to out the leash on Beau to finally get him away from his new friend.
