Where to get a beer in TV

Hi There ... I am currently looking to buy a home in TV. I like to go out 2 or 3 times a week in the early evening for a beer or two, watch a sporting event, etc. where others may be doing the same.

I would not want to drive far from home for such an activity. Where can one get a beer with friends in the evening?

Town Squares seems obvious. Larger country clubs? Rec centers?

The answer may help with location decision.

I am on my way to world of beers in brownwood. Lots of beers to choose !

If you buy new, Brownwood is your closest place. A resale, lots of different places not far away. Either way you will find a place acceptable within easy walking or golf cart distance.

There will be a Country Club not too far way wherever you decide to settle and they will have a beverage of your choice and some TV's in the bar area.

Buy close to a country club and walk home. Pictures in the ************* every day of DWI'S. Funny how they all had "a couple of beers".

You'll have plenty of choices at the Squares and all the Country Clubs along with the various commercial areas. At the Rec Centers and pools you will have to BYOB.

Not sure you can find a place more than 10 minute cart ride from a beer.

Any place is a GREAT place to have a beer in The Villages but if you want to watch and listen to sports events while indulging in an adult beverage, home is the best place.

Ten AM for a beer is a bit of a stretch for me. I'd rather be sitting at Dunkin Donuts with a HUGE coffee and a bagel at that time.

Rent for six months…..then decide where to buy. I love Gators Dockside in Spanish Springs for beer, food and sporting events! They will be opening a Gators Dockside later this month in Brownwood….check it out!

Gator Dockside in SSTS does the best job of putting up multiple different games on different screens .... decent beer selection

World of Beer in BwTS has and outstanding beer selection and a decent selection of games.

Beef O'Brady's (various TV locations) does a pretty good job of game selection and their beer selection has gotten better. If you are a happy hour fan ..... you can get bad beer (IMO) very cheap. HOWEVER!! they close at 9pm shape and if your game is not over, to bad.
