If you had purchased $1,000.00 of Delta Air Lines stock one year ago you would have $49.00 left. With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00. With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer, one year ago, drank all of the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND, you would have had $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.
It's called the 401-Keg.

I was ready to try this but did the math. It turns out Enron was a very good investment The stock tripled & could have made $1667 over the last year. Delta is slightly down($3.00 from $21.00) would have lost $95.00, WCOM has been worthless for years so nobuy there. Beer altho price of aluminum is up (double) still only made $50 bucks after drink the beer. Being a party animal --- priceless?

That works, too, Bernie. Guess it depends on the beer and where you recycle? But my beer doesn't come in a can, so the whole thing is worthless. ;)
