Articulating TV mounting brackets-
Small mount for TV's up to 42inch or 60 pounds has provisions for 2 vertical fasteners.
Anyone have experience with fasteners for the interior surface of an exterior cement block wall? Assume the wall is constructed of 1/2 inch wall board, one-bye firing strip (3/4 inch), rigid foam board, then hollow cement block.
Suggestions appreciated. Steve

Thanks for the detailed reply Charlie. I'm sure I'm not the first guy to attempt this since there are thousands of Villages homes constructed this way. Your suggestion does look like my best option. Thanks Steve

Only issue is that you have to make sure that the toggle bolt goes through the 1x2 furring strip. Otherwise, you will just crush the insulation and wall board. Just a hin to the wary.

Mount the bracket to the wall with 1/4" X 3 1/4" Tapcon screws. I've done too many to count including 2 today and they aren't going anywhere.

Wiring the AC power requires a recessed low profile box. If you need a couple Tapcons or an electrical box. Come on over. I may even let you borrow my hammer drill. ;)
