Crazy street legal golf cart driver

At 1:45 PM today I was driving north on Buena Vista north of 466. Street legal yellow golf cart driver was texting while driving! After I slowly passed him he was still texting, I looked in my rear view mirror and he was swerving from side to side.

Earlier today we were traveling south on Buena Vista and I saw a LSV ahead and pulled over to the left lane so as to pass when we caught up. Well, that never happened because it was going at least 40 MPH when it passed the entrance to Polo Ridge. A few minutes later a non street legal golf cart crossed CR 101 and used the gate to enter Summerhill instead of using the cart path. Hello Sumter Sheriff's Dept. - where are you???

I'm amazed when I'm over near Spanish Springs with the number of golf carts I've seen crossing 441 at Griffin Rd !

We have seen them coming across 441 from Lowes! In fact one gave us the middle digit because we were looking in amazement at the stupidity of crossing 441 in a golf cart.

It is now legal to cross 27/441 at SE 175th Place (only this intersection) in a regular golfcart.:thumbup:

Just remember, it is perfectly legal to cross 441 at traffic lights on foot, on your bike, on your mobility scooter but not your golf cart. How is a golf cart unsafer than those?

....and it is legal to cross 441/27 and 44 "IF" you're in an LSV. Check with the sherrif's office!
