I have p..... around and let the date for my son's wedding creep up on me. Well really, I was hoping to lose some weight so I didn't want to buy the dress. Yeah really!!! Anyway, can someone please recommend where I can find a dress at this late date...3 weeks! Thanks so much from a frazzled mother of the groom!

What size are you needing? Particular color for wedding party ? How about rehearsal dinner clothing? If you can be more specific Perhaps I can make better suggestions. PM me

Dillard's has great selections. Found a dress for a wedding couple of years ago.

There is a store in Ocala. Perhaps you can call and see what type of selection they have in your size since time is limited.

Good luck and have a great time at the wedding!

Nordstrom's and Macy's have a great on-line selection. You can buy a number of dresses, ask (and pay a small fee) for fast delivery, and best of all, return all the dresses that don't make the cut back to any of their retail stores (or you can ship them back), no questions asked. You will find a better selection of special occasion dresses, in all sizes, on-line than you will find in most of the stores. Happy surfing!

lord and taylor.com is also another option.

Don't forget to always search for a promo/discount code. Good luck and congratulations!

Nordstroms by far the best. Free shipping and free return. Huge selection of dresses. I think you can have as many as three, maybe more, dresses sent out to you. Suggest you call them, explain the situation, size, etc., and they will definitely help you.

Just had another thought - What about a long skirt with one of the gorgeous flowing tops which are so fashionable right now. I was at Dillards this past weekend and found a beautiful long skirt on sale.

Besides all of the great online stores already posted........

Talbots (brick and mortar store plus online website; quick service) usually has a good selection of dresses plus suits and separates).

They carry all sizes from petite to womans plus size petite.

Depending on the "venue" of the wedding (indoor high end restaurant; outdoor scenic site; more casual "home type" wedding, you should keep that in mind as well. From all the weddings we've been to lately, the dress code has certainly relaxed.....except perhaps for the "big cities".....

Best wishes..........and have fun.

Dillards is the best bet. I-75 to 200, left for a short ride, store on left.

JC Penney has some nice ones and you can try them on before you buy them. There is a store close to the Villages !

Do you recommend any of the consignment stores more than others? Looking for a very dressy beaded top.

My son is getting married tomorrow. I don't know what size you are but if you are my size you can borrow my outfit (it's black) if it fits. PM me and if you don't mind waiting until after the weekend for a reply, maybe we can work something out.

Would not go to Belks for something really nice. Just my opinion (and you know what that's worth), I always think Belks are kind of old fashioned.

They are in Bailey Plaza and have gorgeous evening dresses and gowns. They are very picky about what they will accept.

I agree about Marie Rose and Another Look, they are both great. A few of our entertainers buy their outfits at Marie Rose as she has some really beautiful dressy dresses. Another Look has great clothes and I bought some for an affair I had to go to. I don't know New2U as I've never been there. Love the consignment shops for accessories as well. Good Luck!!!
