I enjoyed the movie Harold and Maude but this seems to be taking it a little too far. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/harold_and_maude/

I used to clean the house, do yardwork, housesit, dog sit as well as bathe the 2 poodles of a 70ish woman in Reno, Nevada (born in 1900?) from around 1976 through 1982. We had a great friendship of sorts because of all the wisdom she could give. I went to BYU Law School for a short time in 1982 and since she really hated lawyers, our friendship soured. I can understand the attraction of talking to someone much more experienced in life. She had much more interesting stories than the women at the University of Nevada, Reno where I was earning two degrees. She was also a welcome refuge from my trying to keep up a certain appearance at the University. Of course, any thought of a physical relationship was absurd. The couple in the OP's link must be one of the very few who would want their kind of love affair of a December-March relationship.

The words "indecent exposure" come to mind when I see them kissing. :yuck:

They could have left all that kissing out of the video. Other than that I don't see anything wrong with it. She said he made her feel young again and at her age that's wonderful. She will die being a happy woman.

Brings new meaning to the term... "Bringing your business to an established firm!" Can still remember when a friend (or should I say an acquaintance?) of mine said it to my mother (in jest) in response to something she said to him in response to something he said to her... or something like that! :p

A relationship with someone who can be your great grandson in a liitle bit too much difference in age, but that's me.
Brings a whole new dimension to, "friends with benefits".

It's not for me, but hey to each his own. I'm glad he prefers them 91 instead of 9, which is more common and much sicker.

I agree, it's just as creepy.
But somehow, a lot of people view it as more acceptable if it's an old man and a young girl.
Often, men who have "trophy wives" are thought to be cool dudes.

In the end, folks all do what they will with the hope of being happy. That said...
When I read about the article in the OP I think:
Good for that 91 year old women and what the heck is that 31 year old thinking?
When I read about Hugh Hefner's marriage I think:
Good for Hugh, but the difference is I have a pretty good guess at what that young lady is thinking :a20:

As very strange as this coupling appears on the surface, any deep thinkers out there might surmise something below the surface ........which might not even be realized by this May/December pairing. However, it crossed my mind.
If you've ever read books on soul recognition from a past life , or reincarnation, one might come to a totally different take on the matter of the old lady with the young guy.
With a different "lens" on the issue, it might not seem so freaky as at first we might imagine it to be.
The heart remembers...........so does the soul. Just maybe these two "recognized" each other from a long long time ago.
Different time, different place. Different ages. Different bodies.
It's no more far fetched than any other of the possibilities of why this particular couple were drawn to each other...........or any other obviously mismatched couple in the world today.
Why are we sometimes drawn to perfect strangers, no matter their looks, their age, their background or their differences from our norm??? It could be a soul remembrance.
Below excerpt from an article in "HOLISTIC HEALING".........
************************************************** ***************************************
""If you are still uncertain, look into their eyes-- the eyes don't lie. They truly are windows into the soul.""
""There are people in our lives who we have had past life associations with. We may have karmic issues to work out with family members, co-workers, etc. Whereas, teacher/student relationships are likely born of soul agreements. I believe every teacher also learns from his student. It is a two-way street. We learn from others no matter what the role. Parents learn from their children too""
""The people we live with, our business partners, school mates, close friendships... these relationships smack of coming together again... a strong desire to hang out with one another again and again. ""
""When you are aligned with your instinctual nature you may experience moments of recognition whenever you come in contact with other kindred spirits. These are people who we have known in a past life but don't have any compelling reason to meet up and spend time together this time around. Regardless, you might bump into them now and again.""
""Soul recognition will be obvious to you when it happens. You will not recognize the person, not the personality, but the soul within. I had the silliest grin on my face on my way home from the grocery store on Tuesday. While shopping I realized that there was a young man in the store who I knew! He knew me too! I could tell because he recognized me first. I caught him looking at me first. Afterwards we would sneak peeks at each other as we crossed paths many times, one aisle after aisle. ""
""Once I did smile at him shyly and he gave me an ever-so-slight nod. He was a bit confused I think, not quite figuring out why he was drawn to me--a woman who was old enough to be his mother! ""
""Perhaps I was his mother or his nanny in a past life. But, more likely he was just my neighbor, barber or butcher back when. I simply felt good vibes between us.... but not enough of a pull to speak up and try to reconnect. ""
""Partly, I will confess I didn't speak to him because I didn't want to sound like a kook... "Hey, I know you! You're not a stranger to me." If the two of us were the only people in the store I might have said something, but it was pretty congested with other shoppers milling about. However, I trust that if it is important enough the universe will give another opportunity to meet him. Meanwhile I don't feel sad or something is missing from my life if I never see him again. ""
""And, in case you are wondering, I'm not talking about ordinary people watching me or looking me over. Not everyone who makes eye contact with you are Blasts from the Past--- such as the store detective who is suspiciously following customers around trying to catch shoplifters, or a man being appreciative of an attractive woman. I notice those people too. ""
""Sensing or recognizing a kindred spirit is entirely different. ""
""If you are still uncertain, look into their eyes-- the eyes don't lie. They truly are windows into the soul.""

There is also the strong possibility this is just one of those made-up stories for getting their 15 minutes of fame.
In either case, that boy is one strange puppy!
