Jumbled letters and Numbers No Picture

I receive e- mails that when opened contain a series of letters and numbers.
I think it should be a picture. Any ideas how to receive the picture ??

I get that when a picture is sent as part of a plain text message. You could ask the sender to resend and make sure it is an HTML message or ask them to send the picture as an attachment.
