Take note of this particular study on the effectiveness or not of sun screens:
Wearing sunscreen may NOT prevent skin cancer, study claims | Mail Online (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2655355/Wearing-sunscreen-NOT-prevent-skin-cancer-Study-claims-SPF-factor-50-cream-lets-UV-radiation-damage-skin.html)
As I am fair skinned and have had several bouts of skin cancer I have been a proponent of covering up VS sun screen. Mainly because I do not like to be greased up.
Big brimmed hats and long screen SPF light weight shirts are the uniform of the day for me....no room for vanity.
