Can anyone recommend a good rheumatologist now, in 2014?

Uncaring. She appears to not want to see patients in TV and it shows.

This might be your experience but it's not been mine or a handful of other folks I know. I do NOT recommend Dr. Lafferty in her same practice. You could travel to Ocala to SouthEastern Arthritis (google it) Or google whatever your disease is with a Florida tag to get rheumatologist's links in our area.

From the links I belong to on Facebook it's difficult to find a "good" rheumatologist in many areas of our country. Think it has to do with the fact that there aren't many to choose from in that medical field.

I saw Stephen Bookbinder in Ocala. Great doctor but no warm and fuzzy. I told him he needed a time out. He laughed.

Anyone see a Dr Davis in TV.? Female rheumatologist who I believe is from Jamaica.
