Reminder, TOTV Lunch this Friday

Just a reminder that the TOTV Lunch is this Friday at 3pm at Crispers. We hope to celebrate a few birthdays and also Valentine's Day!! I'm also thinking we'll have the pleasure of some special members attending: Tal, Tony and Jan. Please try to come, we'll have fun.

Let me know if you need directions to Crispers or need to be picked up.

We're on our way but at the moment are 'stuck' in Maryland in an ice storm! All the more for us to appreciate TV when we finally get there!! Well, we escaped the ice storm in the DC area, got through torrential rainstorms in North Carolina, are now in Savannah for the night, and with only about 300 miles to go, we'll definitely be at our Villages home tomorrow (Thursday) and should have no problem making the TOTV luncheon on Friday. Whew! Looking forward.... '-)

Hi Peggy D, since I won't be in TV at that time, Village 07 will set those dates up on the calendar after we have the party tomorrow. March is a problem cause of Good Friday but I think she'll set up April and May for sure.

BTW, its always the 3rd Friday of the month. So you might be able to figure it out from that.

We're back. I'm exhausted. It was sooooooo much fun, I wish all of you could have been there. We had a tremendous turnout, many more than expected.

A grand time was had by all. The only problem I have now, is that EVERYONE knows I'm not shy so I can't play that game any more.

We took lots of pictures and had Valentine gifts and 2 cakes, one for Kiddo and one for Tal, who by the way, came to the lunch and had a very good time. We also had a few surprises, like Muncle who is adorable and funny as usual. HB was there with Hubs and Chels and Nonie and Mr. Nonie. What a group of nut cases. It was warm enough that we could eat outside under the overhang, so you couldn't ask for a better day.

So far I've spent 8 1/2 days on this site 024 (OMG). I can safely say I've spent more time reading and posting on TOTV than actually talking to some of my former real-world friends. And it's because they can't relate to the concept of TV. And when I talk about TV to outsiders, it feels like I'm bragging because I do think it is so wonderful. Therefore it is so much easier to talk to people on TOTV who have the same community interests that draw us all together. And most of realize that the friends we're making now are the people we'll grow old with. And I'll drink to that!! :beer2: :beer2:
