Hello, we just bought a new house in Dunedin. We will need blinds and also ceiling fans. We need the installation as well.
We can buy the ceiling fans but would like someone to install them. Can you recommend a good handy man?
And as far as the blinds, how should I proceed? I want just regular blinds like in most TV houses. Do I go somewhere with the measurements or do they come to the house and measure plus install?
I need curtains hung up as well! I know sometimes the "blind people" do that too...
We will be coming to TV for only 3 days in July. Trying to get a lot accomplished!!!
Any help and recommendations greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Jo Ann

Hi JoAnn . . .

On another similar thread, I've recommended Guy Murray for window treatments. His products are excellent as is his work. Guy is in business for himself and consequently doesn't have the overhead most places have. Oh -- and another thing . . . he is reliable!

If you're still looking for blinds, beware of dealing with Blinds for Less in Lady Lake. Our blinds took a couple of months longer than we were told. Our instructions for applying decorative tape was disregarded. Calls to discuss the problem went unanswered. After six calls , I left the message that we were disputing the credit card charges. They responded to the CC Company with total untruths about discussions and meetings that never ocurred. We're still not thru with them.

Go with 48 hour blinds.

I totally agree that Blinds for Less should be avoided. Quality and install were poor and rectification of problems took for even. I very seriously considered removing the plantation shutters and replacing them with shutters from another vendor. Unfortunately, due to cost, I have kept the shutters and still think they are a poor product. Avoid Avoid! Jimmie
