Would someone point me in the right direction toward finding a group my dad can participate in? He recently moved to TV and I would like to get info for him about where to go or who to contact. He is 92 now and still active, was 101st Mechanized in WWII. Thanks in advance, Shirley mcgraw201@gmail.com 352-775-4364

The WW2 History Club (or WWII History Club if you prefer) meets monthly (4th Wed of the month, 3PM to 5PM, Colony Cottage) for a combination lecture/discussion session that often includes videos, WW2 vets and other "eye witnesses". There is also a monthly movie night (3rd Wed of the month, 6PM to 9PM, Seabreeze) at which classic WW2 films are shown.

Principle lecturer is Professor Donald Goldstein, nationally known military historian and author (At Dawn We Slept, Miracle at Midway, )

Membership includes many WW2 veterans who will be sharing their first hand experiences.

No advance signup or registration required for either monthly session just show up and enjoy. There are no dues.

Club details can be found on its web site: WW2HC (http://www.ww2hc.org)
