Does anyone have a contact for hauling locally in the Villages? I need someone to move a refrigerator from one house to another. Thanks

Push it down the street.

Moving a fridge locally is about $200. I moved one to my grand daughter's house 40 miles away a few months ago with my pickup and a rental trailer and I couldn't believe what it cost and the time it took.

Is there no "man with van" guy that moves things cheap?

The Village Movers and Tri-County.

I haven't used either of these companies but they were both recommended in other threads. I saved the threads so I would have the info when I needed it!

The following is from a recent thread. You might try these guys.

"Just wanted to share my POSITIVE experience with a 2-man moving company. Go2Guys out of Fruitland Park loaded my furniture (and more) at one Villages home and unloaded it at another Villages home. I rented the truck and did the driving. Very friendly, very professional, very dedicated to doing a top-notch job for us. I found them on movinghelp.com and noticed all the wonderful reviews posted by other folks. If you have a need for loaders/unloaders, no job is too small or too big. Today they completed another job in The Villages and decided to stop by our home to say "hello" and to see how we've settled in to the new home. Really nice guys.
