I see that there is a Asian American Kite Festival at the Villages Polo Field tomorrow February 17, 2008 from 11am to 5pm.

Not sure if this is free or not? :dontknow: They also list a parade starting at 1pm of the Villages High School Marching Band, Girl and Boy Scouts, Asian-American Club Members with their Countries' flags.

everything i've resad says it's free with a variety of food and kite vendors on hand. not sure what parking access will be like. parade is supposed to start at 1 with everyone flying their kites at the conclusion.

I could see three of the larger and higher Asian Kites at the Polo Fields from the Doggie Doo Run Run at 10:35 am and later or so. Quite a sight if you drive by the Polo Fields today.

Tal, we took our visiting 7 yo Granddaughter to this event. It was wonderful!!

That would have been a wonderful thing for a kid to see. This kid sure liked driving by it and seeing all the kites. 040 :clap2: :2cool: :pop: :2excited:

I saw some large kites from the Doggie Doo Run Run and then from near the entrance to the polo field. Are these what you mean??
