Someone in the U Tube comments said that middle age is from 27 to 52!

Try telling a 27 yo that they are middle aged.

Loved it!! Great lyrics!
Have to say we went to a musical last summer..."Mid-life, The Crisis Musical"...The production celebrated with popular songs from the past, our 30's, our 40's and our 50's. We waited for our 60th birthday celebration, we had just celebrated 3 decades with some of our favorite songs and laughed at situations we all related to...
The 60th didn't happen. The show ended. Hmmm seems somebody decided that 60+ was beyond middle age. Wow, that was a shock! I suppose it makes sense, but it sure slapped us in the face with the reality of aging. Sorry, I may have a number hanging off me but it sure doesn't feel like it is my number.

Hey Chuck, I'll be glad to tell a 27 year old that she's middle aged if you'll tell a 55 year old that she's OLD, especially a Villager. :yikes:

I ignored the definition of what age middle-age should be. Let's face it, not many 55 YOs live to be 110, so 55 is probably a tad beyond "middle age". But, if you asked me at 16, I would have told you I was an adult. At 18, I KNEW I was. At 21, the law said I was. Now, I'd say I was probably truly an adult around 23-24. I was a teenager in my mid-30s and had a ball being one. Today, I'm just me and age is irrelevant -- I'm 12 one day skipping around square, 15 another and gossiping with my daughter and friends, 22 and out dancing with Kathie or other friends, 45 and being a mom, 57 and just being me, 87 when the arthritis is really vile.

How cute!!! And how true...

Wish I could quit being so surprised when I look in the mirror or see a picture of myself.
It's like,,, who IS that person?!?!? :o Guess that's part of middle age also...
