We are part time Villagers for now, full time September 2015. Just got back here for a week yesterday.
Yesterday our brand new 2014 Club Car died two blocks from our home. A neighbor Bob Hamilton we had never met before saw what happened, let me into his house to call Cart World, and when they were closed for the weekend towed us back to our home with his cart. While we were hooking up the carts another car came along, stopped and asked if he could help.
Everything we always believed about "Florida's Friendliest Hometown" is true.
Thanks again, Bob!!!

I find people here are quick to offer assistance, whatever is needed. It's one of the things I like the most about being in TV and a far cry from the other places around the country where I have lived (Chicago, Long Island, South Florida and Phoenix).

Last October when I rented in The Villages, I had a minor problem with my rental car in the parking lot of the Winn Dixie on 441/27. An angel Villager crawled under the rental car, and fixed the problem. I have found that spirit of helpfulness several times during my visits to The Villages which is one of many reasons I hope to make TV my home someday.

Bob sounds like a great guy.
The few times I had to pull over in my golf cart
(Visor flew off my head, had to pull sides down, etc.)
people always pulled over to help! So nice!!
