I need some information about plantation shutters. I would like a guesstimate on their cost, either whole house (designer) or patio door. Tx.

You would need to ask the store for a real 'guestimate'.

Various brands, variable quality- variety of materials and style. Made in USA? Made in China?
You can choose slats in different widths, you can get curved tops, have bi- fold or one piece shutter openings, etc….. They can be mounted outside with a casing surround, or inside, without. You want to use your existing sill? Or have a casing on all 4 sides?
You want a rod down the middle for opening... or prefer not?……
You want stacking panels on the patio door? Like Shoji Screens? Or bifold?

48 Hour Blinds did our whole house with plantation shutters 2 years ago. The still look wonderful, no problems, and the service was professional.
