What is the best final drive gearing for a gas cart that is used @ TV 12, 8 or 6 to one? I don't like tweeking the govenor over 4000 RPM.

Depends on how illegal you want to get and how much you want to pay the courts when you get caught.

8 to 1 is perfect for The Villages, 6 two 1 deprives you of torque on hills.
