Cricket/AT&T

does anyone use Cricket for there cell phone provider, i have read many of the older previous posts on coverage and the problems with AT&T and how many use micro cells in their home, so if you are out and around The Villages does your call get dropped?.....is coverage any better now than 1 year ago? 1 post said another cell phone tower was installed did it help. Thx for info

I have AT&T and have not had any problems with reception or dropped calls anywhere in The Villages. A few years ago there were some issues with missed calls, but what ever that was, it has been resolved. I don't even have any problems in the house, rec centers, restaurants, squares, or any place in and around the Villages. So I would wait and see what you have when you get here before making any changes.

I have Cricket, formerly AIO. We love it. Never had a dropped call. We do not live in the Villages on a permanent basis. We just closed on our home on June 27th. We currently live in South Daytona. We will be spending our week-ends there until retirement, hopefully within the coming year. But with all the traveling between Daytona and the Villages we have never had any problems.
Cricket's customer service is great !

We have Cricket and live in Collier. Service is ok, not great but have nothing to compare it with. At our CT house it (AT&T network) works fine and Verizon does not. Was in the Carolina's last week and service sucked.
