Read in the Daily Sun this morning another golf cart theft.
What is happening here in TV? Florida's Friendliest Hometown......MMMMMMM

According to the paper, there were 6 thefts last year. This is the first this year.
The same is happening in TV that is happening everywhere -- people live here, people visit here. Most of the people are honest and kind. Some are grouchy. Some are downright cruel. Some are dishonest. Some come here for the simple purpose of stealing.
I really doubt anything is "happening" to TV that isn't just part of human nature. Even Eden had a snake.

Why do you assume that the thief was a Villager?
Seems to me that most of the home robberies and cart thefts were in locations nearer major highways, for instance Tall Tree (most recent home vandalism)etc.

For perspective....there are 35,000 homes here....so, I would guess there are about 30,000-35,000 golf carts (accounting for no golf cart or 2 golf cart homes). Six thefts in a year is just a blip. Not a blip if it happens to you, but, the odds are miniscule. Best protection is to make sure yours has a unique ignition key and not a common one.

Agree with 07. But from what I understand, these people left the keys on the dashboard but felt they were safe because the other carts had the keys in the ignition.... DUH!!
