Moving to Hillsborough

We are moving our furniture in on July 18, 2014. We are really excited about the new phase in our life. Wondering if there are any groups specific to Hillsborough, etc. golf groups( Women's, men's, couples), neighborhood clubs, etc, Our new address is 3537 Nance Run. Feel free to stop by and say hello. I am new to Hillsborough also, moving here mid-May. There are a couple of people who send out info re neighborhood get-togethers and the monthly calendar of events. Also, there is a Game Night Friday night, July 11, at Big Cypress that starts at 5:30. Bring a dish to share as it is a pot luck. After the first round of eating, they play various games. I was passed this information by a friend of my sister's.

We are also new to Hillsborough and looking for couples who play the 18-hole courses. There are 3-4 sections in Hillsborough .. You are section 219, north of Hillsborough Trail.
We are in section 220, south of Hillsborough Trail.

Welcome to Hillsborough. We are just moving in this week on Alzarine Terrace. Already met some wonderful folks. Looking for golf buddies, card players etc. Any softball players?

Thanks for the offer. My husband Skip, will be playing the 18 holes most often. I can play but I'm not a really good golfer. I will never hold up the game though. I had back
surgery a few months ago so I probably won't be able to do a full 18 holes just yet, but that is no problem. I just play as many holes as I can and drive around with our group for the rest of the game. I enjoy just being out. How long have you been in your house?

We have been looking at and considering a home that backs up to Hillsborough Trail. We are concerned about traffic on Hillsborough Trail. Not being very familiar with TV does anyone have any insight. Looking at the map it looks like this could be a street that gets a lot of traffic.......

What street are you moving to?

We have been looking at and considering a home that backs up to Hillsborough Trail. We are concerned about traffic on Hillsborough Trail. Not being very familiar with TV does anyone have any insight. Looking at the map it looks like this could be a street that gets a lot of traffic.......

You will experience traffic, especially while construction is continuing. At this point that starts very early and ends, usually before 6PM. After the construction is done with Hillsborough you should only have local car and golf cart traffic and the contractors that service our homes.....significantly less noise....but traffic will be there.
