Any Villager know Lawnmower Carbs

I have a Murray Lawnmower (cheap) and the carb linkage is screwed up, and if i brought it to a repair shop, it would cost 10x what it's worth. Looking for a friendly helper here in the villages to give me a hand.

Hubby fixed his Toro by searching the internet for a youtube instructional video.

try bending down the linkage where the spring is attached, on the front of the mower in the first picture. this is a weak part and will bend upward with use. use needle nose pliers and bend downward a little at a time. it should end up being parallel with the other linkage.
