Yesterday, I spotted a brindle colored male pit bull running up and down my street (I live in Belmont Villas). A neighbor and I tried to coax the dog into a garage with doggie treats. We were hoping he had a microchip. He is not wearing a collar.

He was a gentle dog and gladly accepted treats, but too smart to fall for our trick. We tried to put a leash on him (he is not wearing a collar). He took off after several attempts to lasso him with the leash. We tried to find him again after he took off, but no luck.

Later, I mentioned this to another neighbor and she said that she has spotted that dog and another pit bull running loose on golf course behind her home. She said neither one had a collar.

Called the radio station to report this. If anyone has lost their pit bulls, they are around our neighborhood (or were yesterday).

Hope they find their owners. This is I assume near Leicester Terrace? http://www.spokeo.com/Leicester+Ter+The+Villages+FL+addresses A woman on Manor Downs rescued our Sport about five years ago who was wandering around the Lynnhaven Postal Center. Nancy did a lot of travelling in the golf cart trying to get her Westie exercise.
