You mean it doesn't already? Sounds like you've made up your mind. (And,no, I don't smoke grass. Haven't for almost forty years.)

Actually I survived the 60's and the 70's without ever trying it (and still haven't).
I'm even worse than a pot smoker, I smoke cigars.

Yep, and tax it to the hilt. Great source of revenue while emptying our prisons of these non violent crimes that shouldn't be. Law enforcement can then concentrate on real issues instead of ruining young lives and creating future liabilities to our economy.

Agree. Drug laws should be simplified whenever possible and this would stop the prosecution of kids just trying to get high or maybe handing out MJ to their friends for concert tickets and beer. Medical use of marijuana has already been legalized in 23 US states.

Colorado and Washington have legalized "recreational" marijuana. 23 states have legalized "medical marijuana". Florida is voting on the medical use of marijuana.
I fully support the medical use of marijuana IF it can be contained to real medical issues. However, with the Florida record of their pain pill mills, it is doubtful it can be contained. I still support it, though.
The recreational use of marijuana should not have people end up in jail. Of course, it does cause the euphoria that does lead to car accidents just like drinking and driving. Those should be jailed.
Wow, Buggy, you are rambling here. Did you have a toke before typing - or is called "word processing" now?

Charlotte's Web is a strain of medical marijuana processed into a marijuana extract that is high in cannabidiol (CBD) content, called Realm Oil and Alepsia. It does not induce the psychoactive "high" typically associated with recreational marijuana use.

It's likely we would be trading one set of liabilities for another. Can you think of any? We should think about it because once you open that door there's no turning back.
Personally, I think there will be much greater numbers of people who will need to be taken care of, in one way or another, by the state.

Marijuana is a vegetable with very beneficial health properties when blended or juiced in raw form. Google it.
Marijuana is only psychoactive when heated. When consumed raw, there is NO psychoactive effect.
Additionally, as eluded to above, certain varieties of marijuana have no psychoactive effect even when heated and these have proven to be life-saving to epileptics and other seizure sufferers.

Sell it right next to hard liquor, beer, wine, and tobacco products!
Think of the tax revenue! Think of how many fewer people in prison! Think of the agricultural jobs and the whole new industry created! Think of the other products we can create from hemp fiber! Think of what a smack down it would be for drug dealers! Think of the liberty of allowing choice to adults about how they recreate! Think of how uplifting it would be to stop passing moral judgement on people who choose to live life differently!
I enjoy a glass of wine or a glass of whiskey when I choose. For those who want to smoke for enjoyment, I support your right to choose that as long as you don't impose on others.

I just saw a headline in a Tampa Bay paper that said, "Lawmakers get ready to set marijuanna guidelines".
Apparently, it's not question of if but when.
