We got tired of trying to manage too many voice mailboxes so I totally nuked voice mail from the home phone and left voice mail on the cell phones only. We answer the home phone if we're here and caller ID reveals the call to be from someone with whom we wish to speak otherwise the phone just rings. Just like in the old days lol.
