On the front page of the Villages news, there is an article that the Central Florida Lyric Opera Company is moving to TV and renaming to The Villages Lyric Opera Company, with both vocal and instrumental performing opportunities. They are open to the community at large, with a focus on giving serious music college students good performing opportunities, but it is open to all who qualify.

This is great news for TV. My other half is an opera lover and he is going to enjoy having a group right here without having to travel.:)
