49cc Three Wheeled Scooter

I have a 49cc three wheeler scooter which I thought I could ride on the cart path. Is this correct?

I think if you'll check with the District, you'll find that it is NOT an acceptable vehicle for the multi-modal paths.

Just ride it on the road... believe me, it safer than the paths!
