As I sit here enjoying a mint gelato bar covered in dark chocolate, I began to wonder if there are personality traits shared by those who enjoy deep dark chocolate that are not shared by those who enjoy the more creamy flavor of milk chocolate.

The personality of individuals is only based on their online persona since many here have not met all TOTV members ..... okay, maybe we can add crunchy or smooth for cookies, too.
Not sure if any conclusions can be reached, but maybe we'll see if something shared pops up....;)

Peanut butter cookies though. I once took a train from Minneapolis/St. Paul to Seattle and down to near San Francisco. I bought a huge bag of peanut butter cookies made by a Dinkytown (near U of MN campus) bakery as my main source of food while on that train. Did not really care for the dine-in food on AmTrak. I have to watch my sugar intake now in my mid 50s though so I could not do this in 2014.

Well, so far, more women seem to prefer dark chocolate over milk chocolate and more people prefer crispy cookies to softer ones.

Men seem to prefer milk chocolate over dark and softer cookies over crispy ones.

Interesting....this is something I've observed casually over the years.

Llaran, have you ever tried these? You can get them at Costco....and probably online...sooooo good!

I have needed it. Yesterday at the Sumter Landing Winn-Dixie from cashier Karen while buying 4 Hungry Man TV dinners $3.69 (19 cents off with card so $3.50 a piece) (7 cents when buying two towards fuel perks) and one $2.29 bag ($1.99 with Winn-Dixie card) of 10 lb ice the price was $16.13. 7% FL sales tax! This has happened a lot too at the various Publixes here in the Villages. And, what do I see in the recent Robocop movie but 224? I also picked that up in Winn-Dixie at the RedBox. If you look for patterns in the Universe with a preconceived notion, more likely than not the pattern you seek will turn up at some point. At least, the Southern Trace Shopping Center Publix people do not look at me so funny any more. Still once in a while though. I would often hear a bell go off often when I went through the door and their managers Priscilla and John would seem abuzz.

I was checking out at 3:27 PM yesterday at Winn-Dixie , so I had seen this thread but was not drawn to buy an Almond Joy!!!

I started noticing numbers in things when at the Petaluma Cinema in California while watching Outbreak http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114069/ with my mother on 3-12-1995. https://www.talkofthevillages.com/forums/774212-post1.html A scene shows a test phial for existence of an immune strain number 612. The movie creators seem to imply that 613 is the number they need. The guy in back of me that 3-12-1995 day leaned into my ear and asked me "Did you see that?" I looked around when the lights came on to find out who this might have been but the couple of men who were right behind my mother and I were too far gone for me to get a good look at. The movie theater people were acting a little strange too. This movie Outbreak was filmed in this area of Northern California and the cast might or might not have stayed at the hotel (Red Lion Inn) http://doubletree3.hilton.com/en/hotels/california/doubletree-by-hilton-hotel-sonoma-wine-country-RLSC-DT/index.html across the golf course from us in Rohnert Park, CA. I had been using 224 and 613 quite a lot in my victims/survivors of crimes project from mid 1993 onward from Sonoma County, California. I had no idea what to do with this though. Tell my parents and sound like a fruitcake.

Dark chocolate made in Europe seems to have less wax filler and more buttery rich flavor. Compare a Hershey chocolate to Tobbler or Lindt in a blind test and you will taste what I mean. Cookies are better crispy for my taste buds but if they are Choc chip soft and gooey and warm I will scarf down the whole batch in a second . Pity I am now diabetic[emoji22]

I like semi-sweet chocolate the best. Dark is second. I like European chocolate best but think Tobler tastes very odd.

Cookies--either one, depending on what it is. Pecan sandies and peanut butter, crispy. Chocolate chip, chewy.
