How many of you are going to watch the Academy Awards tonight?

Think I had a poll like this a few months ago about the same subject but decided to rerun this one in a new form.

We are having our own little Oscar Party while we watch them tonight. One way to pass the time in winter here in Ark.

It the Oscar people could find a way to control the time and get the entire show over in 2 hours I might consider watching it. They have so many Oscars for foreign movies, editting, color imaging, etc that most of us really do not care about. I care about the last five or six categories. Actor/actress/Supporting actor/actress/best picture/director. The rest of the awards should be done at an earlier date and summarized in the first 30 minutes. If you want to know more - go to the internet. They should cut off the winner's speeches at 2 minutes and sooner if they try to do a political view. What makes t hem political experts?


But i digress. I am not watching the Oscars.

The Oscars used to be fun but since we stopped going to the movies - it doesn't matter any more.
